WHATS OLD IS NEW AGAIN: MICROSOFT JUST BOOSTED 74 LAST GEN GAMES TO 60FPS

If you are like me and have a absolute for gaming regardless of age or genre then I want to applaud you! If you are also like me in that you have a massive backlog of games waiting for you to install t hem and complete, I feel your pain and guilt.

Full truth right now...I haven't even played through any games in the Mass Effect series! Not a single one! Its on my list to be sure and I acknowledge the shame.

I have a list a mile long and whether its just my attention span or finding time in my life I just haven't made a solid dent in that list.

Well it looks like my patience/laziness/priority management has paid off as Microsoft has just given me a strong reason to re install them and finish the list off.

Microsoft recently announced a ground breaking new feature called " FPS Boost" which was a software tech that allowed developers to "flick a switch" and update older last gen games to a 60hz.120hz frame rate.

Not a firm believer in frame rate trumping game play but it doesn't hurt to play Tomb Raider Definitive edition in a buttery smooth 60FPS or even Anthem for that matter.

I cant help but wonder why Sony doesn't implement the same tech for its new PS5 console...
